In this role, you will lead a team of Technical Sales Engineers and Field Application Engineers driving their focus in consultative sales and business development. Your Responsibilities
You’ll build a high-performance team by providing your consultative sales knowledge, acting as a team coach to help improve their conversion rates and evaluate their performance
You ensure the team is tracking opportunities, capturing customer requirements and project progress in Europe
You are accountable for the execution of Toradex's global sales strategy in your region, providing sales leadership and strategic direction to regional branch offices and your sales teams
You will work with the Global VP of Sales to establish the sales channels to market by defining and executing the distribution strategy at regional and country levels
You define regional sales territories to maximize sales and profit potential
You will drive the entire sales process, starting from lead identification and solution presentation, all the way to the successful commissioning of projects and support services
You deliver regional sales results in accordance with agreed policies and business plans, especially focusing on net sales and gross margins
You’ll provide structured customer feedback on new and existing products in target markets to product management and executives
You’ll visit customers and showcase the superior values of Toradex’ s products and provide pre-sales support together with the technical sales team
You strive to develop long term relationships with key customers and make sure the customers are up-to-date and that requirements are met in the long term

Your Profile
Strong focus on consultative selling: Creating value and trust with prospects and exploring their needs prior to proposing suitable solutions, assisting customers in implementing their product ideas
Proven ability to sell at all levels, from engineering to management and executive level
Experience leading Consultative Sales Teams in the technology area
Strong proactive communication and problem-solving skills combined with high integrity and ability to work in teams
Passionate about the latest technology in embedded computing and assisting customers in implementing their product ideas
Experience with embedded operating systems such as Embedded Linux, QNX or other OS
Fluent in English, German is a clear advantage
